CERTIFICATE IN ANATOMY,  PHYSIOLOGY & PATHOLOGY

 

The Level 3 Certificate in Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology is the ‘foundation’ upon which all other Complementary, Beauty and Sports Therapy awards are based. It is comprised of several units encompassing all systems of the body.

It is important as a professional, for therapists to have a sound understanding of anatomy and physiology, a comprehensive knowledge of diseases and disorders of the human body so that they are aware of when and when not to treat a client, and only operate within certain parameters.

 

Unit 383 Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for Complementary Therapies

THE MUSCULAR SYSTEM

THE LYMPHATIC SYSTEM

THE IMMUNE SYSTEM

THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM

THE URINARY SYSTEM

THE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM

THE ORGANISATION OF THE BODY

THE CHEMICAL ORGANIZATION OF THE BODY

A & P is available as a standalone qualification Unit 383, but is also part of the 4 module courses.


Currently there are no lessons so the Anatomy & Physiology module (Unit 383) can only be completed as a home study. There is a multiple choice exam paper at the end of the course.

Next confirmed exam date is Sat 7th Oct 2017


Basic home study has periodic notes sent out with worksheets and questions but for an additional £100 there is an option to do an online A & P course with video lessons.


There is also now an assignment for Unit 383 which incorporates the Structure & Function of each system and also identifying 2 diseases or disorders of each system.
